Sarah Batrisyia's Flag for the Future design is the best

Syabas and Congratulations to Sarah Batrisyia Binti Mohammed A’Reeff from GGAM Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur Branch!

1,400 young people from over 43 countries and between between the ages of six and 26 participated in the Flag for the Future competition for Greenpeace International's Save The Arctic campaign organised by WAGGGS.
Dame Vivienne Westwood, the world renowned fashion designer, together with two Canadian Northern Indigenous artists, Hilary Tam (Chinese/Canadian tv presenter), and 15-year-old Aishah Morshed, a Girl Guide from Ireland, selected 13 year old Sarah Batrisyia's flag design as the best among all.

Sarah Batrisyia’s winning design which ‘symbolises peace, hope and global community’, will be produced as a flag and planted on the seabed at the North Pole next month, along with a time capsule containing the signatures of millions of Arctic defenders who signed Greenpeace’s petition.

Well done Sarah Batrisyia and thank you! We are proud of your achievement.
