Saya tidak pernah mengenali beliau secara dekat dan tidak pernah berpeluang bertemu beliau. Apabila pihak ibu pejabat meminta ahli-ahli membuat kad ucapan untuk beliau, saya berusaha mereka sebuah kad sendiri ketika larut malam dalam komputer. Walau bagaimanapun, pada keesokan harinya, belum sempat saya mencetak kad tersebut, saya mendapat berita tentang kematian beliau. Betapa sedihnya saya kerana beliau tidak berkesempatan membaca kad saya dan anak-anak sebagai keluarga kepanduan. Memang bukan rezeki saya, namun saya berdoa agar roh beliau dicucuri rahmat. |

| after school,when we are on our way back, we wonder why the radio station is playing such songs. one of my friend told me about the news she got from a teacher.when i reach house,i received sms about the news too. Our President’s passing is a time of great sadness for the members and friends of the guiding sisterhood in Malaysia and for all those who knew her. While we share our sorrow today, let us remember to be thankful for a life well-lived, a life filled with the joys of a loving and caring family, and with friends who held fast through the good times and the bad - a life of courage, a life of grace, a life devoted to the happiness of others.

| Our pain is heaven’s gain for Datin Seri Endon is there now, radiant and free from pain. I know she is looking down at us and happy that she is so appreciated in her earthly form. I shall miss her but i am consoled she is now in a far better realm where her vision knows no limits. |
