National Plastic Busters Beach, River, Public Park Clean-Up 2023

Concurrently executed at all districts in the 18 branches around Malaysia. Plastic Busters will either clean a beach, a river or a public park of their choice. This activity will be held on Saturday, 13th May 2023 involving guides and leaders alike.

Plastic Busters act as a role of agent and is a programme amongst our guides that is adopted from the Ministry of Environment and Water Malaysia to raise awareness regarding the dangers of plastics and plastic pollution. The activity will underpin the implementation of joint actions to reduce and later to ban litter generating activities of single use plastics, in line with the Government stance stated on the Malaysian Roadmap towards Zero Disposable Plastics 2018-2030.

This means to proactively educate everyone to ensure plastics are Refused, Reduced, Reused, Repurposed and Recycled!
